Double wedge alley tapers from 32 inches to 17 to  prevent cattle from turning around.  Add no-backs to keep cattle from backing out once into the alley.

Double wedge alley is the newest way to work cattle.  The 6 foot opening allows cattle to flow better into the wedge alley.  Double wedge gives more capacity and gets cattle to move along faster.  Double tapers to a single with a swing gate just before the chute. A must for large cattle yards.
